More Scrapbook Pages

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days, life has gotten in the way of what I would really like to be doing. Had a busy day at work Monday and was able to get a few scrapbook pages finished. Yesterday I had to have an MRI on my thumbs, but only did one. After 45-55 minutes in that tube in the position they had me, I refused to do the other hand. So we'll see if they can get enough from the one hand to figure out what is wrong.

Anyway, here are a few of the pages that I managed to get done Sunday and Monday.

Hedge Hog Valentine Card

Good evening everyone, what a day it has been. I will not go into everything that happened today, but we did have to have the local sheriff department come and weed through everything.

It was not a crime but a legal civil matter involving a student that just started. Glad I wasn't there for the end, but it did end the way it should and the child was extremely happy.

After work today, it was time for a nap. So I took a short nap and then had dinner. It was time to finish relaxing with my stamps.

Supplies:

Stamps: Penny Black Love Graffiti

Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black

Paper: SU Whisper White, Bo Bunny A Gift of Love DP

Accessories: Prismacolor Markers, Nestabilities, 3/16" Heart Eyelet

Dreary Day

It has been a dreary, rainy day around here all day long. Kids had to spend most of the day inside, which is rough as they can't run off that extra energy. The plus side is I didn't have
a lot of kids in the office today.

Here is a card that I made last night. I am now trying to use at least one of my new stamps every night. At this rate it will take a while to stamp each one at least once.

Supplies:
Stamp: HM Grape Lunch, Have A Grape Day
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black
Paper: SU Whisper White, Pixie Pink, Gable Green, Basic Grey Euphoria
Accessories: Perfect Layers, Brads, Prismacolor Markers

Hope you enjoy these little guys.

New House Mouse

It has been a very busy 4 days around here. I inherited some rental property about 15 months ago, and had a house that needed extra attention to get it done in time for a new tenant, so I had to help hubby get the work finished. But it is done except for a few minor things that can be done without being on a strict time schedule.

In the meantime, I have received a ton of new House Mouse stamps, 41 to be exact. These 2 cards are using 2 of the new stamps.

Supplies for both cards:
Stamps: House Mouse, Mudpie Tells & Monica Romances
Paper: SU Whisper White, Bo Bunny DP, SU Real Red, Pixie Pink
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Buttons, Nestabilities, Prismacolor Markers

Both of these were very fun and simple to do.
I hope to have at least one more new card done this evening. This one is done with my new prismacolor pencils. I don't know why I waited so long to get these, they are great. Until later I hope you enjoy.

Received Card

I just had to share this adorable card that I received from Danni the other day. I received it full of Happy Hopper images to color. The colors are just so cheery.

To see more of Danni's work, click on her link over on the side bar. You won't be disappointed.

Just have to share. I have 37 new House Mouse stamps on their way. I can't wait to get them. Some of them are ones I have been trying to get for some time, but either haven't found them in the few stores that I have been to that carries HM or haven't won the bid on Ebay. Well, I will have them very soon now.

Better get out of here and see if I can get one of my own cards on here this evening.

I Wanna Stamp

Another long day. Still no new project. I am hoping tomorrow or Thursday I will get to create something again. Between what feels like long days at work (I only work 6 hours) and my thumbs, I have not done anything. I do have some new RAK images to color and hope to get to start them tomorrow evening.

Thursday is the doctor appointment to find out what new is going on with the thumbs, they won't stop aching. Have been told they are inflamed, and have tried the steriods and have splints to wear on my thumbs, but they don't help much. Time to try something new.

So in the meantime, I will share something that I made at Christmas time.
As you can see, I am back on my House Mouse again. And new stamps soon to be in. I just won 12 different stamps on Ebay and they should be here by this weekend.
Until later.

Scrapbook Pages Finished

Here are the 2 scrapbook pages that I finished this afternoon. Need to get this album done for my niece. Her mother asked that I make this. As soon as it is done, I have to do another for her sister. I just want to stamp right now and everyone else wants me to scrapbook. Guess if I can do 2 pages a night, I might get it done.

Thanks for looking.

Challenges Done

Finally finished 2 different challenges. Now 2 more to go. I did get 2 scrapbook pages done for my nieces album that her mother asked me to make. I have been dragging my feet on this, I would much rather stamp than scrapbook right now. Hopefully 2 pages a night and this album will be done in a few weeks. Then another one to make for the other niece.

The card is part of a challenge on a RAK group that I belong to.

Supplies:

Paper: SU Real Red, Pixie Pink

4 New Cards to Share

Been busy this evening. But very relaxing. I had a co-worker comment that I needed to make extra cards for Valentine Day, so I started on them. Hopefully the ideas won't run out before I have all the cards made that I will need.

Finally heard about the little boy that broke his arm on Tuesday. He had surgery Tuesday afternoon, they had to put a plate in the arm, and straighten the arm where it dislocated. He came home from the hospital late yesterday and should be back to school sometime next week.
Hope everyone has a great evening and I'll see everyone tomorrow.
Thanks for visiting.

Freedom is Never Given, It Is Won

I was going to wait to post this card until I finished a similar one that I am getting ready to finish. But was sitting here and reading a post from a very dear online friend, and decided I would like to post this now instead of later. Danni, though I was originally thinking of my nephew in the Marines when I made this card, I believe this card needs to be dedicated to you and all of the spouses of our military personnel. Remember we all love you and your sacrifice that you personally give to our country.

Supplies:

Stamps: Inkadinkado Marine Stamp, SU Star-Spangled Banner

Ink: SU Real Red, Not Quite Navy

Paper: SU Black, Real Red, Not Quite Navy

Accessories: Nestabilities, star brad, versamark, gold embossing powder

Hope you enjoy the card everyone.

Little Boy At School

I have been asked about the little boy at school that hurt his arm yesterday.

Unfortunately, we had not heard anything by the time I had left. A message

had been left with mom had home, but no return call by 2:30 PST. Which is

not a good sign, there was a younger child in the home, so wherever mom is,

which may have been back at the hospital, all children are with her. I am just

afraid that this child was kept in the hospital last night so the arm could be

repaired.

I also want to Thank everyone for the comments on my cards. I truly enjoy

making them. Have no idea what is in store this evening, but we'll see. Might

even try an ATC this evening. Haven't tried a lot of these, only 3 to be exact.

Here is the very first one I made last October. They are fun and addicting.
This is an ATC I made before Halloween last year.

Paper: SU More Mustard, Really Rust, Whisper White, Brocade Blue, DP

Ink: Black Staz-on

Well, let me get this one loaded, and see if I can't shut down for the evening.

Love ya all,

Kim

What a Day

I am so glad this day is over. We had quite a bit of excitement at the school this afternoon, and not the enjoyable type. Had a little 7 year old boy fall during his lunch recess. Come to find out he did quite a number on his arm. We ended up having to call the paramedics, as we didn't think mom would do what was necessary for the child. It took her an almost an hour to get to the school after she was originally called the her son had been hurt. So decisions were taken out of her hands and we were able to get the medical treatment that the child needed. When his shirt sleeve was cut away, the principal and myself, who had been tending to this child were absolutely shocked. It looked like the ulna bone was somehow separated from the elbow joint. But of course not being a doctor, who knows for sure, but paramedics even told the child he had 'done a job' on his arm. Hopefully we will find out more tomorrow on him.

I would like to thank everyone for the comments on the card. And thank everyone for the comments, I am so new to blogging and it really was a treat to come home from work and see all the comments left.
I hope to have another card to post later this evening. I have a pretty red & white Valentine card on my table right now.

Here is one of my favorite little guys. House Mouse.
Quickly put together. For some reason the scan makes
this look crocked, but really isn't.

Back to Work

It was back to work today. Now that I am home hopefully I can get some crafting in. Haven't gotten much done during Christmas vacation, but hope to get back in the swing now that it is over with.
Hope to be back later with at least one card that was made. Until later.
